VANUATU's population welcomes visitors with the
warmth and friendliness that is typical of the
South Pacific. The population is only
200,000 with the majority residing in Port Vila.
The Islands comprise of lush, untouched
rainforest, coconut plantations, cattle farms
and traditional VANUATU Villages. Some of the
islands are volcanic.
VANUATU boasts some of the most incredible
diving locations in the world. Game
fishing is also a big attraction. Golf,
horse riding, sailing, hiking are just some of
the activities awaiting you. Dining is
diverse with fresh local fruit, fish, beef
and produce offering Melanasian, French,
Polynesian, Indian, Thai-Vietnamese, English and
Japanese cuisine. Shopping in specialty
stores and the colourful local markets is always
a treat. So much to see and do, so little
time.
